Dear Thomas,
hallelujah, dear friend! Here comes the long-awaited newsletter with the news that we have purchased the land.
In the third summer of my stay in the Alentejo near the small municipality of São Teotónio (you can find more details at breathworkdoctor.com/description), I had gathered enough information about my favourite property. So Sabine and I could instruct the lawyer to purchase the land for us. And then it happened quite quickly, because the owners wanted to go through with the sale by 30 October. And on 30 October, we were informed that everything was wrapped up and that we were now the new owners of 31 hectares of hilly land near the Atlantic coast. And after the "purchase" project is before the "realisation" project. Because now it's all about building a water supply, cleaning the paths (we're already doing that), talking to all sorts of people about electricity, platforms for huts and a small water retention basin that can also be used for swimming. And we can now invite you to visit us here. Preferably with camper vans, as we are not yet able to offer accommodation. Then you can spend some time exploring the area and realise what wonderful nature it has to offer. And you can then try to harmonise the whole thing with what I have presented as a vision. And then you can find out whether the concept could also be right for you.
We look forward to your feedback and are very excited to see what you think.
See you soon in the Alentejo, Tom
BTW: We've had a lot of rain over the last few weeks, which is great for this region that isn't exactly favoured by rain (even though our site has plenty of water). But in the next two weeks, sunshine with temperatures of around twenty degrees is on the cards again.
