I have been extraordinarily shocked by the events that have taken place recently. I would not have expected this. Even if I am still in India and therefore far away from the events. I could never have imagined that we could have another war in Europe. And my thoughts are with everyone who has to suffer this situation. Even now that I had chosen Portugal as the new destination of my search for a conscious community, we still remain in Europe, which could be a potential battleground for a confrontation between the U.S. and Russia. But at least in Portugal we are on the edge of the scene, and it makes me feel better personally.
Search in Portugal But back to our "intentional community": of course it was a bitter disappointment that it didn't work out with Sardinia in spring 2021. But I think this experience had a purpose. As you already know, after Sardinia was cancelled, I decided to go to Portugal. And for various reasons, this is the most sensible and forward-looking solution at the moment. Now, after the decision for Portugal was made last summer, I was lured to the Alentejo by Stéphane, where he wanted to show me a resort he liked.

But at least in Portugal we are on the edge of the scene, and it makes me feel better personally. Not only did we like David's resort, but the nature in the Alentejo is beautiful. David also named other people I could talk to. I drove around the area and had a look at the country. Result: I fell in love. The nature, the people, the climate, the beaches: everything fit. And for certain reasons, definitely better than in Sardinia. Moreover, there are many expats there from various European and non-European countries. So I got a good feeling over the summer of 2021 that the Alentejo could be the right place for us. Therefore, in December, I posted a search for land in various Portuguese online media.
Serendipity? I got quite a lot of answers right away, but after a few days there was a very special answer: an already existing cooperative contacted me, looking for exactly the healing skills of our people for their kind of community. The cooperative consists of about 6 people from Austria, Germany and Belgium, who are still at the very beginning. But they have already bought a site of 88 hectares and created the legal basis as a cooperative. And it is fascinating: our concepts are congruent. Coincidence? That should mean something, I thought to myself, and we started talking to each other. And so far, we've had some very constructive conversations.
Video conference A circle of about 10 people on our side has already had a videoconference with five of the "Portuguese", where we connected from Sweden, France, Tenerife, Spain, India and Germany and got to know each other. So far, so good. Moreover, the site is near Odemira, a nice town in the Alentejo, nevertheless not more than 30 minutes from the most beautiful beaches of the Alentejo. This also means that the wind is not as cold as it is directly on the coast. They also have enough water in the form of springs and wells, and wooded areas that can provide shade. And 88 hectares is definitely a mouthful.
What now? So the next thing I'm going to do now is go to Portugal and meet the members of the existing community in person. And then we'll see what develops. I'm hopeful. mich haben die Ereignisse in der letzten Zeit außerordentlich geschockt. Damit hätte ich nicht gerechnet. Selbst, wenn ich noch in Indien bin und damit weit weg vom Geschehen. Ich hätte mir nie vorstellen können, dass wir wieder einen Krieg in Europa haben könnten. Und meine Gedanken sind bei allen, die diese Situation zu erleiden haben. Auch nachdem ich nun Portugal als das neue Ziel meiner Suche für eine bewusste Gemeinschaft ausgesucht hatte, wir bleiben immer noch in Europa, das ein potentieller Kriegsschauplatz für eine Auseinandersetzung zwischen den USA und Russland sein könnte. Aber zumindest sind wir in Portugal am Rande des Geschehens und ich fühle mich damit persönlich besser.
Suche in Portugal Aber zurück zu unserer "bewussten Gemeinschaft": natürlich war es eine herbe Enttäuschung, dass es mit Sardinien im Frühjahr 2021 nicht geklappt hat. Aber ich denke, dieses Erlebnis hatte einen Sinn. Wir Ihr schon wisst, habe ich mich, nachdem Sardinien ausfiel, für Portugal entschieden. Und das ist aus verschiedenen Gründen im Augenblick die vernünftigste und zukunftsweisendste Lösung. Nachdem nun im letzten Sommer die Entscheidung für Portugal getroffen war, bin ich durch Stéphane in das Alentejo gelockt worden, wo er mir ein Ressort zeigen wollte, das ihm gut gefiel.
Alentejo Nicht nur das Ressort von David gefiel uns gut, auch die Natur im Alentejo ist wunderschön. David hat auch andere Leute benannt, mit denen ich sprechen konnte. Ich bin durch die Gegend gefahren und habe mir das Land angeschaut. Resultat: ich habe mich verliebt. Die Natur, die Leute, das Klima, die Strände: alles passte. Und aus bestimmten Gründen auch definitiv besser als in Sardinien. Außerdem gibt es dort viele Expats aus den verschiedensten europäischen und außereuropäischen Ländern. Ich habe also über den Sommer 2021 ein gutes Gefühl dafür bekommen, dass das Alentejo der richtige Platz für uns sein könnte. Daher habe ich im Dezember eine Suche nach Land in verschiedenen portugiesischen Online-Medien gepostet.
Glückliche Fügung? Ich habe sofort ziemlich viele Antworten bekommen, aber nach ein paar Tagen war eine ganz besondere Antwort dabei: Es hat sich eine schon bestehende Kooperative gemeldet, die genau die Heilungskompetenz unserer Leute für ihre Art Gemeinschaft sucht. Die Kooperative besteht aus ungefähr 6 Leuten aus Österreich, Deutschland und Belgien, die noch ganz am Anfang stehen. Aber sie haben schon ein Gelände von 88 Hektar gekauft und die rechtliche Basis als Kooperative geschaffen. Und das ist faszinierend: unsere Konzepte sind deckungsgleich. Zufall? Das soll etwas bedeuten, dachte ich mir und wir haben angefangen miteinander zu reden. Und bis jetzt haben wir schon sehr konstruktive Gespräche gehabt.
Videokonferenz Ein Kreis von ca. 10 Personen auf unserer Seite hat dann auch schon eine Videokonferenz mit fünf der „Portugiesen" erlebt, bei der wir uns aus Schweden, Frankreich, Teneriffa, Spanien, Indien und Deutschland zugeschaltet haben und uns gegenseitig bekannt gemacht haben. Soweit, so gut. Außerdem ist das Gelände in der Nähe von Odemira, einer schönen Stadt im Alentejo, trotzdem nicht mehr als 30 Minuten von den schönsten Stränden des Alentejo entfernt. Das heißt aber auch, dass der Wind nicht mehr so kalt ist wie direkt an der Küste. Außerdem haben sie genug Wasser in Form von Quellen und Brunnen und Waldgebiete, die Schatten spenden können. Und 88 Hektar sind definitiv eine Hausnummer.
Was jetzt? Als nächstes werde ich jetzt also nach Portugal fahren und die Mitglieder der bestehenden Gemeinschaft persönlich kennen lernen. Und dann schauen wir mal, was sich entwickeln soll. Ich bin hoffnungsfroh. Das wird wahrscheinlich Mitte April der Fall sein. Und sobald ich mehr Informationen gesammelt habe, werde ich mich wieder melden. sono stato estremamente scioccato dagli eventi che hanno avuto luogo di recente. Non me lo sarei aspettato. Anche se sono ancora in India e quindi lontano dagli eventi. Non avrei mai immaginato che avremmo potuto avere un'altra guerra in Europa. E i miei pensieri sono con tutti coloro che devono subire questa situazione. Anche ora che ho scelto il Portogallo come nuova destinazione della mia ricerca di una comunità consapevole, rimaniamo ancora in Europa, che potrebbe essere un potenziale teatro di guerra per un confronto tra Stati Uniti e Russia. Ma almeno in Portogallo siamo al limite dell'azione e questo mi fa sentire meglio personalmente.
Cerca in Portogallo Ma torniamo alla nostra "comunità intenzionale": ovviamente è stata un'amara delusione che non abbia funzionato con la Sardegna nella primavera del 2021. Ma credo che questa esperienza abbia avuto uno scopo. Come già sai, dopo che la Sardegna è caduta, ho deciso di andare in Portogallo. E per varie ragioni, questa è la soluzione più sensata e lungimirante al momento. Ora che la decisione per il Portogallo è stata presa la scorsa estate, sono stato attirato da Stéphane nell'Alentejo, dove voleva mostrarmi un resort che gli piaceva.
Alentejo Non solo ci è piaciuto il resort di David, la natura dell'Alentejo è bellissima. David ha anche nominato altre persone con cui potrei parlare. Ho guidato intorno alla zona e ho guardato la campagna. Risultato: mi sono innamorato. La natura, la gente, il clima, le spiagge: tutto si adatta. E per certi motivi, sicuramente meglio che in Sardegna. Inoltre, ci sono molti espatriati da vari paesi europei e non europei. Così ho avuto una buona sensazione nell'estate del 2021 che l'Alentejo potesse essere il posto giusto per noi. Così a dicembre ho pubblicato una ricerca di terreni in vari media online portoghesi.
Una coincidenza fortunata? Ho ricevuto subito un bel po' di risposte, ma dopo qualche giorno c'è stata una risposta molto speciale: si è fatta avanti una cooperativa già esistente che sta cercando esattamente le capacità di guarigione della nostra gente per il loro tipo di comunità. La cooperativa è composta da circa 6 persone provenienti da Austria, Germania e Belgio, che sono ancora all'inizio. Ma hanno già comprato un sito di 88 ettari e creato la base legale come cooperativa. E questo è affascinante: i nostri concetti sono congruenti. Coincidenza? Questo dovrebbe significare qualcosa, ho pensato, e abbiamo iniziato a parlare tra di noi. E finora abbiamo avuto conversazioni molto costruttive.

Ma questo significa anche che il vento non è così freddo come direttamente sulla costa. Hanno anche abbastanza acqua sotto forma di sorgenti e pozzi e aree boschive che possono fornire ombra. E 88 ettari è sicuramente un numero civico.
E adesso? Quindi la prossima cosa che farò ora è andare in Portogallo e incontrare di persona i membri della comunità esistente. E poi vedremo cosa si svilupperà. Sono fiducioso.
